How Codronic Transforms Technical Challenges into Market-Ready Solutions
Case Studies & Success Storries
Environmental Compliance in the Defense Sector
Under intense time constraints, Codronic developed an audit-proof environmental impact assessment and disposal concept for a defense contractor’s complex mechatronic system, aligning both civilian and military regulations.
The Motor Training Frame
To support the maintenance and servicing of its large diesel engines used worldwide, the customer required a practical training solution. The goal: to train personnel under realistic conditions — without taking the costly original engines out of operation.
The Battery Testing Laboratory
A battery cell manufacturer required a safe and fully functional test environment for its own cell developments within a short time frame. Codronic designed and implemented a battery test laboratory with over 120 test stations in modular container construction — from infrastructure design to commissioning.
The big Drill
As part of a global retrofit initiative, large 20-cylinder marine engines were to be converted to operate on liquefied natural gas (DualFuel technology). Since dismantling the engines was not economically feasible, the idea emerged to develop a mobile spindle machine that enables precise machining directly on board.
The Single-Use Gastroscope
In medical endoscopy, conventional gastroscopes generate high costs due to complex cleaning and sterilization processes, which are error-prone because of the long, narrow tubes. For this reason, a customer aimed to develop the first single-use gastroscope — safe, functional, and cost-efficient. Codronic was responsible for the development of the mechanical and ergonomic components.
I-Sand Black Ramel
The company Innovative Sand (I-Sand) pursues a clear vision: transforming desert sand into high-quality construction sand. To turn this patented idea into a practical reality, I-Sand commissioned Codronic to develop a mobile proof-of-concept system powered by solar energy.
